Minneriya is a region in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka, famous for the Minneriya National Park and the vast Minneriya Tank, an ancient irrigation reservoir. Located close to the Cultural Triangle, Minneriya is a key destination for wildlife safaris and nature enthusiasts.

  • Tropical dry zone climate, warm and dry for most of the year.
